Calcipotriol / Calcipotriol & Clobetasol propionate
Calcipotriol in SORISTOP/SORISTOP-C Ointment/Lotion regulates keratinocyte proliferation & differentiation & Clobetasol encounters moderate to severe dermatoses. Soristop 0.005% Ointment is a topical medication used in the treatment of mild to moderately severe psoriasis. It works by lowering the rate at which skin cells grow. This reduces the red, scaly patches on the skin. Calcipotriol and Clobetasol which treat psoriasis. Calcipotriol is a form of vitamin D. It works by reducing the overproduction of skin cells that may build up and form scales on the skin. Clobetasol is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.

MODE OF ACTION:
It has been shown to have comparable affinity with calcitriol for the Vitamin D receptor while being less than 1% the activity in regulating calcium metabolism. The Vitamin D receptor (VDR) belongs to the steroid/thyroid receptor superfamily, and is found on the cells of many different tissues including the thyroid, bone, kidney, and T cells of the immune system. It Regulates keratinocyte proliferation & differentiation & Clobetasol encounters moderate to severe dermatoses.
Apply over affected area 1-2 times per day
