Liquid Paraffin, Milk of Magnesia, Sodium Picosulfate
Pegeze Plus is a combination laxative formulation used for the management of constipation. It softens stool, increases water retention in the intestine, and stimulates bowel movements, providing effective and gentle relief from occasional and chronic constipation.
COMPOSITION:
Each5 ml: Liquid Paraffin 1.25 ml, Milk of Magnesia 3.75 ml, Sodium Picosulfate 3.33 mg
MODE OF ACTION:
Liquid paraffin acts as a lubricant stool softener, Milk of Magnesia works as an osmotic laxative by drawing water into the intestine, and Sodium Picosulfate stimulates colonic motility. Together, they facilitate easy and comfortable bowel evacuation.
INDICATIONS
- Chronic constipation
- Constipation associated with hemorrhoids
- Bowel evacuation before diagnostic procedures
Dosage
15-20 ml per day or as directed
Direction for Use:
Shake well before use and administer using the measuring cup provided.
