Ferric Carboxymaltose

FCMalt (Ferric carboxymaltose) is a parenteral, dextran-free iron formulation designed to overcome the limitations of existing intravenous (IV) injections. It is a safe, well tolerated and stable complex, associated with improvements in hemoglobin. Due to the stability of the complex, it does not release ionic iron under physiological conditions.
