Sodium Sulfate, Potassium Sulfate and Magnesium Sulfate

Colowipe NEO (Sodium Sulfate, Potassium Sulfate and Magnesium Sulfate) is a saline laxative that acts by its osmotic properties, thus increasing stimulation of fluid secretion, thereby promoting bowel movements. Colowipe NEO is indicated for pre-operative, pre-radiographic and pre-endoscopic bowel evacuation. Low volume oral sulfate solution and causes maximum water retention within bowel.

COMPOSITION:

Sodium Sulfate 17.5g, Potassium Sulfate 3,13g and Magnesium Sulfate 1.6g

MODE OF ACTION:

(Sodium + Potassium + Magnesium) Sulfate solution is used to clean out the intestines before a certain bowel exam procedure (colonoscopy). It is a laxative that works by drawing large amounts of water into the colon. This causes watery bowel movements. Clearing stool from the intestines helps doctor to better examine the intestines during your procedure.

Dosage

For the Same-Day Regimen Only

Step-1

  • On the morning, 6 hrs. before to colonoscopy or when your doctor tells you begin), take the first bottle.
  • Add cool or normal drinking water up to the bottle neck and mix well.
  • Drink the entire solution over 10 minute’s period.

Step-2

  • 1 hour after drinking the first bottle of Colowipe takes the second bottle.
  • Add cool or normal drinking water up to the bottle neck and mix well.
  • Drink the entire solution over 10 minutes’ period.

For the Two-Day Regimen Only

Step-1

  • On the evening, prior to day of colonoscopy at 6.00pm, for when your doctor tells you to begin), take the first bottle.
  • Add cool or normal drinking water up to the bottle neck and mix well.
  • Drink the entire solution over 10 minute’s period.

Step-2

  • On the Morning, 5 hours prior to colonoscopy, take the second bottle.
  • Add cool or normal drinking water up to the bottle neck and mix well.
  • Drink the entire solution over 10 minute’s period.
