Rosuvastatin, Clopidogrel, Aspirin
Aspirin+clopidogrel+rosuvastatin belongs to a group of antihyperlipidemic and antiplatelets used to treat heart attack, myocardial infarction (blockage of the blood to muscles of the heart), angina (chest pain), and stroke. A heart attack happens when the blood flow to the heart is blocked. The blockage is most often a build-up of cholesterol, fat, and other substances, which form a plaque (semi-hard accumulation of substance from fluid) in the arteries that supply to the heart. Sometimes, a plaque can burst and form a clot that blocks the flow of blood. Symptoms of a heart attack include chest pain, tightness in the chest, pain in the neck, arm, or back.
Rosuvastatin 10/20mg + Clopidogrel 75mg + EC Asprin75mg Capsules
MODE OF ACTION:
Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required by the body to make cholesterol, thereby lowering “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides and raising “good” cholesterol (HDL). Besides, it also contains two blood thinners, Aspirin and Clopidogrel, that together prevent the formation of blood clots and also prevent the existing ones from growing bigger in size. Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise, and not smoking may help this medicine work better.
