Levosulpiride
Alfapride is a gastro-prokinetic formulation containing. It helps improve gastro-esophageal motility, enhances gastric emptying, and provides relief from symptoms associated with dyspepsia, reflux, bloating, early satiety, nausea, and upper abdominal discomfort.

MODE OF ACTION:
Levosulpiride acts mainly by blocking dopamine D2 receptors in the gastrointestinal tract, which enhances acetylcholine release and improves gastric motility. It also supports lower esophageal sphincter tone and promotes gastric emptying, helping reduce reflux and dysmotility-related symptoms. Its prokinetic effect may also involve 5-HT4 receptor activity.
